Mystery Book Club Bubbles Ablaze by Sarah Strohmeyer Buy book: $15.09
The irrepressible heroine of Strohmeyer's Agatha Award-winning series makes her usual headline-grabbing entrance just in time to heat up Pennsylvania's coal country--in another rip-roaring tale of murder and mayhem.
I laughed out loud - I could visualize Bubbles without much effort and liked her high spirit. If the book reads as quickly as the excerpt, it should be enjoyable and a fine escape.
I read the first in the "Bubbles" Series over the Holidays. It was a fun read, reminds me of the "Stephanie Plum Series". If you're into fun mysteries you'll love this series.
Your brief has peaked my interest. I will try to check if out, if it's available at the library.
Thanks for the great emails with first chapter of books. I really enjoy the tease of the first chapter of the books. I have put them on my list to read as soon as possible.
Thank you

Honestly, this is really good! The Web page is clear, sharply delineated; squared off nicely. And the colors are marvelous! I hope everyone reading takes a good look at her latest creation – EXCELLENT!!! (And there’s a print friendly version too!)

Oh boy, here I am already addicted to Kinsey Millhone and Stephanie Plum - AND NOW, here's another series I'm sure to get hooked on! I should have bought stock in Borders!
Usually I am not one for a murder mystery but this on has definitely captured my attention. It has humor, suspense and lustful overtones that makes for a don't put it down but read it all night until you finish. I like those kind of books.
I was prepared to use the delete button on this one...after reading each of Suzanne's messages...because it sounded too cutsey. However, I did read Day 1 installment, as well as Day 2 and am looking forward to today's excerpt. I read mysteries almost exclusively right now and like a broad range of styles, locales and situations. "Bubbles Ablaze" has already caught my interest and I shall be adding it to my collection, which then become loaners to my friends and other avid readers.
Thanks, Suzanne, for keeping such a diverse selection available.

I will not read this one. I just cannot get into a mystery that has characters with names like Stinky Koolball, Stiletto and a hairdresser named Bubbles.
I like this book but I can't get past her name - Bubbles! Every time Stiletto says "Are you okay, Bubbles?", the image of a trashy stripper pops into my head! (I sincerely apologize if anyone reading this is named Bubbles.)
I've read all three of the Bubbles books, and I highly recommend reading them in order so that you have some understanding how relationships among the characters came to be. In my opinion, the first one ("Bubbles Unbound") is also the best.
