The title of this book almost made me hit the delete key. Naughty Marietta? It sounds like a porn movie title. It's ok so far but I'm still unsure as to whether I'll read it or not.

Why is it that most female characters in romance novels are readheads? Is there something I'm missing out on being blond and all?

I have to admit that a book that moves this quick keeps my attention. I dread books with paragraphs and paragraphs of description. I didn't read any of them until today... One of my co-workers is a member of this group as well and said that she was enjoying it and I can see why now :) I am curious to see how the next two installments are...

BTW- I tend to think that a lot of authors comapre their main character to themselves or someone they know... maybe the red hair is red because the authors is red? I for one have had a very dark auburn color most of my life and I can tell you now that you aren't missing anything :)

It just seems that most female characters are "fiery redheads with a temper to match". Remember Temperence from a previous book club selection? It's that hair that seems to attract those brooding handsome types. *sigh* I'm seriously considering a dye job. =)

She's a tease isn't she? lol not much progress today, will read tomorrow :) I like it though
