I like the book already. I have never read anything by this author so it's a treat to find a new "treasure". I wonder how the mom died? I wonder what Grandma Tat is really like? Looking forward to tomorrow's read.
Yeah, I'm kind of curious about what's going on. I'm familiar with Pasadena, and I love New York, so I like that aspect of the book, but it seems a little slow right now.
It seems a little harsh, the way Dilly thinks of her mother. I could use more information on that point from the writer. I think it'd be great to own a farm house in New York, so I'm having a hard time sympathizing with her (Dilly).
