I just read the 1st installment of "Blend", and I must say I'm looking forward to the next one. At this point I have to find out what's about to kick off in this coffee shop. I just have a feeling that Joe Conrad is about to end up with more than just a hot cup of coffee.
I continue to enjoy the selections from these "good new" stories. This one is told with such simplicity, yet there is a serene power in the parable. I like this kind of writing and look forward to the rest of the week's chapters.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book's daily selections, and I am definitely going to order this book. I think, from reading the first pages, that this is a book that would be a wonderful "loaner" to friends at work, a new way to share Christ.
Will most definitely have to finish the book now. The first 5 chapters grabs you and gives you just enough to make you want to come back for more. Not really sure where the book is going, but I have my suspicions...will let you know!
