I really enjoyed this book when I read it about 6 months ago. The first book in this trilogy was so good that when I found out about "When a Texan Gambles", I couldn't wait to read it. Actually, just re-reading this little bit puts me in mind to check it out from the library again :-)

I have already read the book for this week.
I am not a fan of western romances but thought
this one had a good plot and enjoyed it.

I will look for other books by this author.
As I recall she is a fairly new author.

So far I'm really enjoying this selection. It seems to move a lot faster than The Lady, The Chef, and the Courtesan. The plots a lot better in this book. I plan on looking for other books by this auther.

I totally do not like cowboy western type books but right now I'm interested. I've been drawn into this one.

Ho hum, trite, I thought as I caught on to the setup. (Would rather watch Mary Steenburgen purchasing Jack Nichols off the hangman's platform in the movie, "Goin' South.")

Plucky little ladies and rough, tough Texans -- hasn't somebody already done that?

Gradually, though Sarah Andrews comes to life. Maybe it's her horrendous backstory. I begin to think I'd enjoy following her adventures with Mr. Gatlin.

But I wouldn't shell out hard earned cash for this book.
