OK...I'm curious to know what's going on. I want to know why this guy was hunting the woman, and what she had done to end up somewhere so remote. Very good at drawing the reader in.
The first chapter was very enticing. But the second chapter left me with some doubt about time order within the book. Now that I have gotten to the third excerpt, I truly have no idea if we have experienced a flash back in the book. Did we get the ending first and now are working our way back to how she came to be shot?
If this is the third in a series, I am curious to know what the first two were about. Chances are if I decide to read this book, I will want to read the other two first.
