In this quirky, urban love story, Emily Lime's simple life becomes decidedly complicated when she gets involved with a man 16 years her junior--who happens to be the son of her paranoid, unsavory ex-husband.

 

This one appears interesting. Looking forward to the rest of the week.

I like this so far... the characters seem kind of quirky and interesting...I hope it develops more soon.

Solos looks good. I recently joined this group. When was this book previewed??

Pretty cool start. I like the writing style, and how most of it's in present tense. The father/son relationship seems very unusual and interesting.

i like being able to "preview" all sorts of books to broaden my horizon. It's always a shame to wonder what will happen.....but then we could always buy the book.

At first I was very excited about this book but it has gone downhill for me. The writing style keeps me reading but the storyline so far doesn't have me. Not that believable.

I like the quirkiness of this one. Dad's crazy. I'll get this one from the library or maybe buy it. I definately want to finish it.

When I first started reading, I was intrigued. However, as time went by, I wasn't as interested in it any more.

I don't know if it's because I knew that Emily and Marcus would end up togther, based on the blurb, or that it just became a bit far-fetched.

It's not bad, there's just something that didn't sit right in my mind. Once I figure out what it is/was maybe I'll be able to read this one.

I wouldn't put money on Emily and Marcus getting together. The ending of SOLOS is surprising and very satisfying. I urge you to read on!
