An ancient evil discovered by Marines in the South Pacific during World War II is linked to a depraved serial killer many years later on the streets of Boston. Detectives Jefferson and Brogon have no idea that to solve this case, their investigation must take them around the world and through time and history.

So far this book hasn't captured my full attention. However, it is just the first few paragraphs and i'm not sure that's enough literature to make an educated judgement. I'm not completely bored but i'm possibly headed that way. But in the interest in justice i'm willing to give it a chance.

This took too long to get going, five days of reading and we see nothing about the killer. We never get to Boston and current day. I would look at this book again because I am intrigued by the title, so will keep an eye out for it at the library or bookstore.
