Veteran deep-sea fisherman Greenlaw relays true fishing stories--swapped with other seafarers at the Dry Dock Bar--on such topics as the most eccentric crew member, the funniest episode, the biggest fish, the wildest night at sea and more.
I find the title intriguing and I think will reserve the book in the library and read this book. I really like the author having accepted her best friend for what he is with all his faults and demerits.
I will say I am enjoying this book so far, Its funny and strikes a wonderful hopefulness that we all have in finding a true friend. I mean, I believe that is was true friendship is all about. Anyone else have any thoughts??
Linda Greenlaw is terrific - I became interested in her because of the book and movie "The Perfect Storm". Her book "The Lobster Chronicles" is a must if you enjoy this book at all.
