Re: An Irresistible Bachelor (Romance)

I've already read this one and it is well worth following for the week and then reserving at the library to finish. I really liked the interplay between the main characters, even though he comes across as overbearing at first.

I'm intrigued

November 15 2004, 6:37 AM

So far, so good. Interesting image...our hero climbing out of bed naked and standing at his NY hotel window. Oh well, he sounds rich enough that his hotel would have no nearby neighboring buildings.

I was wondering about Her reaction to Him until I read the intro to this book in the forum. Sounds like she is going to do her best to not get involved.

I want to read more.

So far, so good! I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the week, although I don't think I have started a romance book with Chapter-a-Day that I didn't like! Can't wait for tomorrow!

Bachelor

Usually I lean towards the mystery/crime drama books, but this one caught my attention right off. Sounds interesting from the first installment. I will definitely give this book a try and see what happens.

interesting so far

November 15 2004, 11:43 AM

This book grabbed me right off with his description of meeting the woman (his dream) and it looks like this is going to be a good author. I haven't read her work before. On top of that, I like reading books that will teach me something about a world I don't know and I suspect we will learn something about art conservation along this rocky road to romance. Looking forward to the rest of the book.

Double Hit

November 15 2004, 9:51 PM

I like books that give you the fictional happily-ever-after that you know is going to happen plus a little real life info. This book seems like it's going to have both.

so far, I've requested it

November 16 2004, 9:23 AM

Usually I don't know until Wednesday or Thursday if I'm going to request the book to read after having it. But just with yesterday's introduction (and the prospect of two weeks off from class!), I already requested the book from our county library. I'm hoping I manage to get it Friday...and that it lasts longer than the last one I requested (After Midnight), which barely made it to sundown!

At first I thought I wasn't going to like this book. But as I starting reading it I started thinking that maybe I should put an order in to get me a copy.

This book seems interesting

November 18 2004, 6:41 PM

Originally I was not sure if I would read this book. However it caught my attention. I looked forward to the daily chapters. Now that I have read a couple of chapter I'm into this book.I can't wait until I find it at my local library and read the whole thing. Hopefully the next book that is e-mailed is equally interesting.

Voice of dissent

November 18 2004, 6:56 PM

So far, I'm finding both of these characters annoying (especially him). Maybe it gets better later on.

I think he sounds like a stalker.

I know this book is in the romance genre, but If I were her, I'd be a little worried about him.

Irrestible Bachelor

November 30 2004, 10:36 AM

I did become interested in the excerpts. I found out that this book was book 3 of a series, so I checked out Heart of Gold and Unforgetable Lady as well as this one.

I like the 1st the best. More action and plot. The other two were pretty good, but a little disapointing by comparison.
