This book sounds sooooo good! Usually it takes me a few of these reads to get into a book, but I'm hooked already. The magnifying glass breaking shows something bad has come to town. I can't wait to read more about Penny and how she deals with it.

We're studying archetypes and symbols in English this year and so every book I read I automatically start picking out symbols. The shattered magnifying glass is symbolic of lives shattering, or some bad fortune. Definitely sounds suspenseful!!!

I love books that have a lot of mystery. I haven't read the whole book yet, but I am looking forward too.

I just got this book form the library about a week ago. weird!

Hmmm....I don't like this one yet.Then again,it may just be the first chapter.Hopefully it gets better.

Wow, this book sounds really cool!Just the cover is something that makes it seem interesting. The story of "The Creek" is a kind of story that makes you feel chilles at the back of your spine! I love those kinds of books!
