Caroline has it all: a successful dance studio in Raleigh, a long-term marriage, and four adult children, all of whom are lawyers. Caroline is looking forward to waltzing gracefully into retirement. All it takes, though, are two back-to-back phone calls to change everything.

I Like This Author

I read this book and Eat Cake a few months ago. Both books are light, enjoyable reads. The author doesn't take herself too seriously and the books have nice endings. What a terrific pick for the beginning of the holidays.

Love this book!

I read this book some time ago, and I loved it! I've also read her other books (the latest is Eat Cake) and they are delightful, too. She's an easy read, but she hits you with insights and truths when you least expect it. I recommend this and anything else she's written or may write!

Fabulous!

Just from the excerpt we got today, I know I'm going to love this one. The characters are so rich! I think it's going to be a lot of fun seeing what happens with everyone. I'm expecting quite a bit of craziness to ensue!

Get this one!!

I checked this one out from the library this past Sunday and was done with it by Monday night. Such a wonderful read!! The characters and development just got better and better and I ended the book feeling like another part of the family.

I've been recommending this one to my friends, too. A nice light, easy read.

I'm surprised....

I'm surprised there haven't been more comments on this book so far. I am really enjoying it in a breezy sort of way. I love the character, Tom, and his droll comments....I can just picture him and he makes me laugh. This author has a great sense of humor.

Light, easy reading - just what I need - especially since I just sprained my ankle last night! aargh! Anyhow, I'll definitely be reading this one and perhaps her two other novels as well.

I'm with you guys!

I love this book, in fact after the first day - I ordered it. I can't wait for it to come. I think it is so much easier to comment when the book is below our expectations. I really like these people already. As the mother of two girls - I dread this day...

This is definitely a keeper. The characters are fun and the flow of the book is easy and keeps your interest. I'm particulary happy with its beleivable setting and it's easy to picture myself in a similar situation. The suspense is killing me. I'm going to place this one on hold right away. Great Choice.
