After five dark and gritty mysteries, Grafton changes tone, giving readers a lighthearted novel about a complex and clever money-laundering scheme. The many faces of love form a link with Grafton's range of characters, from a spoiled rich girl just out of prison to a too-good-to-be-true (and single) cop who seems to have the hots for Kinsey Milhone.

Have read all of her ABC books I believe - so am hoping to get this one soon and read it - I've enjoyed her (Kinsey's) personal life progression as well as the mysteries -

I had forgotten just how much I enjoyed her books and am enjoying listening to this one on audio - (read I believe, by the author) - usually I prefer a book in my hand but may get this one from library on audio -

I like the reader, Judy Kaye's, differentiation of each character, from Milhone's landlord to probation officer. As Doris observed, these characters' interactions are engrossing, making Grafton as comfortable for me as Lillian Jackson Braun's Quilleran adventures.
