Just when things start coming together for Kirk Tobak, it looks like it all might fall apart. He just starts to like his new class, his new girlfriend and his new job--then his mom up and leaves for California, leaving Kirk alone. Can he make it on his own now?
I think that the small summary that my library gave was so captivating that I had to have it so I reserved it and I am going to pick it up today! Hope it is as great as I think!!

This is kinda boring so far, I really liked last weeks book. I don't think anything exciting will happen. It's just about a kids life and going tru all the bad stuff in school. Pretty boring....=) sorry if you like it.
Well I accept your humble opinion. I think every opinion is worth voicing. But I am happy you did like last weeks book because it would not be good to not like the book choice two weeks in a row.
It's not a bad start, the book last week had a better beginning, but if this book has more action, and isn't just an account of a typical day, I think it'll improve.
Hey. This is my first week doing this book club thing. I think it's a cool way to find good books to read which is sometimes hard for me. I like this week's book so far because i can relate to Kirk so well. I think basically the same of school and have alot of conflicts with a certain teacher. Lol she has even taken points off of essays for being irrelevent to the question. So, yeah, its nice to know I'm not the only one with these problems.
This book starts out slowly and gets better after the first few chapters. So don't judge it by the stuff you read through the book club, you would have to get it from the library. Not the best book I ever read but it's not bad.
OMG, I can't believe how well I relate to Kirk. I can ramble like that too. Fortunatly i have a few friends who put up with it. I plan to work at the library as my first job. Yeah so overall I really like this book and plan to check it out for sure.
Not the best book in my opinion i abselutley LOVED last weeks book, Now you see it. It was great! This isnt a book i would rush out and buy like i would for Now you see it.
I find this book really interesting, the auther has alomst a dark sense of humour(aka finding things that are funny when they really shouldnt be). I read last weeks book and it really ended up weird in the end (there was a talking dragon ect) so hopefully if i take this book out(which i most likely will) it will me more realistic. its really good so far.
I still really liek this book so far pure;y out of how much i have in common with the main character. I would definately take the job she offered me, it sounds really kool.
I like wierd stuff(i.e. dragons, etc..) because its the whole reason i read. I like to escape reality, not look for it.
Well I liked it so far. I shall rent the book. I dont buy fiction too often because I remember books so vividly and for so long after reading them that it just doesn't make sense to read it again, and if you aren't going to read it again then why buy it? *marvels at herself for making that point in one gramatically correct sentence*
Anywho, I think it is worth finishing.
omg i loved the book it was a great book! the author is so good! he is lik the best! i hope he keeps writing! mr. peter moore sure has a sensitive side to him! he knows how to think of something and write about it! ive done some research about him and it seems to me he had had a very bad life until he married his wife and had 2 incrediable children! ones name is Jenny and the other is Frank! i personally think that peter moore should spoil his children and give them everything they want! thank you so much!
