I'll reserve judgement on this, it could go either way.

Mystery -

Of course, too short a read - but looks to be a good one - like the descriptive writing - I'm there with them at the iron gate and then waiting apprehensively at the massive doors - of course we already know the essential beginning plot - so let's get on with it -

I'm with Pam...waiting and reading

I've been very tempted to pick this one up. I love the Preston-Child books, but when they go it on their own I always feel like there's something missing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this one, though. Child's 'Death Match' was a decent read...I hope Preston can pull the same thing off with his newest creation. Otherwise, I'll just wait for the next adventure of their modern-day Sherlock Holmes, FBI Special Agent Pendergast.

It's a shame we all know they have not been robbed so we could commiserate with them instead of having a chuckle at their expense - "c'est la vie" -

This book sounds very good from the couple of excerpts I've read. Its the type of storyline I enjoy reading. Will be buying this book real soon.

light

I'm finding this book a little hard to connect to. A bit light, No sympathetic characters yet. Very visually written though which I like.

Regardless of the Station in Life....

The upper crust feel that as long as their lives seem to be perfect to outsiders something is morose in their existances. They believe that money will solve any problem.

They just keep getting better (writer envy setting in)

Great book - it's on my must-read list now. As well as the author's latest collaboration with Lincoln Child "Dance of Death" set to be released later this year. What a treat, what a treat...
