Whispering To Witches by Anna Dale Buy book: $11.37
Joe is on a train to visit his mother when he gets off at the wrong stop and his life takes a very unexpected turn. With the help of a bewitched broomstick, he is whisked to the home of the Dead-nettle Coven, where he befriends a young witch-in-training.
..i like this book, i might get it but i can never find any of the books on here on the libary page. o well. it seems ok. its sorta boring but it might get better. i wish they would bring some older books on here like the lord of the rings.
Trust me, I started listening to this book on tape. Very good, then we were done with our car trips and I never got to finish the book. I think i will check it out but it is a very very good book as far as I have heard.
What does the S on the man's wrist stand for? Is it important? Good or Bad? Why doesn't Joe like his mom? does he just prefer his dad. I WANT TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!

wasn't it weird that the man with the S on his Wrist seemed to be able to read Joe's mind. Joe was thinking about snowball fights and sledding then the man was talking about sledding. Is that man a wizard or was it just coincidence? What were those things in the basket? Were they cats?

I dont really like to read anything that has to do with witches or wizards (or talking dragons), i guess im wut u would call a 'only a reality reader'. i just finished that book from last week 'blind sighted'. i couldnt put it down, read it in half a day, its really good, and realistic. so i guess im gonna leave this book and wait for next weeks book.
peace out
kath
You contradict yourself. You said you don't like to read fantasy yet you loved "Blind Sighted" which you said was realistic. Ummm...I read this book and it was far from realistic. Different dimensions, talking dragons, etc. That isn't realistic in my book.
blind sighted was not fantasy, there werent any witches in it, any spells, dragons, it was realistic, sure yah, it may be fiction, but at least a person could believe, really believe, what whas happening. and no, i didnt contradict myself, while blind sighted is not a true story at least it wasnt full of fairies and goblins ect, did the main charactar meet a wich somewhere? no, did his life get changed by a fairy? no, see, r-e-a-l-i-s-t-i-c.At least i could relate to some of the stuff in blind sighted, while i cant relate to meeting a fairy or anything else of that type for that matter. all im saying is my opinion is not to like fantasy, thats it.

uh, that was the book we read two weeks ago, it was called 'now you see it'about a girl who gets these 'magic glasses' ect. 'Blind Sighted' was last weeks book, totally different book,it was about a guy named kirk and how his life sucked and how he had an attitude, it was ok in my opinion.
