For fifteen-year-old Haven, life is changing too quickly. She's nearly six feet tall, her father is getting remarried, and her sister--the always perfect Ashley--is planning a wedding of her own.
I absolutely adore this book and all the other books that this author has written, they r sooo great, i would defintely totally recomend it.
oh yah, Anne F. i was talking last time about a book called 'blind sighted' its about a guy named kirk who basically reads to a blind person named cally, ect, NOT, i repeat NOT the book we had three weeks ago which was called 'now you see it', 'Now U See It' was extremely unrealistic and was the one with the talking dragon. You evidently got the two mixed up, i didnt conradict myself.
I'm not sure I'm going to like this book. I like stories about something unusual happening. This is a bit to ordinary for my taste. I'll take the recomendation though and keep reading. How did haven get her name?

"'That Summer' and 'Someone Like You' were adapted for the movie 'How to Deal,'" starring Mandy Moore." When did that movie come out?? It rings a very little bell.
The book is good so far, I already reserved my copy!! I wonder if the mom will go to the wedding or not. I think she should or else they will think she's a sourpuss. Anyway, love this genre! I think it sounds like a great book.
i agree, it is a little slow but i bet it will pick up. i think that it is really good becuase i love realistic books. if you like this book you should try sister of the bride by judy bloom. it is like this one but different. they are both similar. does that make any sense??? still, have you heard of the movie??
This book has an OK beginning, but the characters are a little dull. You know all about Haven, but what about Ashely? You know the basics about her, but you don't know her feelings or likes and dislikes. I think that the author could have given her an original personality, because right now, she sounds like any other character in a book.
i am getting the book so i can see how it ends because on matter how boring the book i like to know the ending. i hope it gets better though. i don't see why it says "sparks Haven's memories of the summer
when her parents were happy, her sister was plucky and carefree, and everything was perfect...or so it seemed," for some of the description. none of that has happened yet. it is the kind of book i like but.....
I loved this book so much! it was awesome. I couldnt put it down! :-) I like books about teenage girls...probably cause I am one..lol but seriously it was an awesome book. Im so glad i joined the teen book club.!
