As a former violinist who went to Young Artists Program at westminster concervatory in Princeton,nj,i can say that i really didn't like this book. And i consumed everything violin with open arms,so whatever. Not my fav.
Can anybody tell me how the sisterhood of the traveling pants movie was?also, any good series like gossip girl i should check out?(besides the a list)
i so read 'sloppy firsts' and the second book 'second helpings', i thought they were funny, really witty and sarcastic. im going to take out 'sisterhood of the traveling pants' from the library and see how i like it, the movie looks cool.
thatz all 4 now.
I just read last week's chat and i thought i'd say that i've been a vegitarian for about 5 years. I think it's wrong to eat things that have lived. LOL. Just my opinion though. I haven't gotten the e-mail yet but i was just checking out the boards. I think the sisterhood books are wayyyyyy better than the movie. yeah, my drama camp was fun! i just had the first day today, it was really fun!! LOL!
Mountain Solo. To read or not to read, that is the question.

This book is a little slow but whatever, I'm going to give it a shot.
The sisterhood of the travelling pants is a great movie. Out of the four girls it focuses on, everygirl would be able to relate to one of them sometime during it. It made me cry too, and the beginning is so sad at the funeral but it doesn't ruin the movie.
This book is just like I expect it to be. It is like what is going to happen next.
It is so not Boring or slow. try looking at from at a different view I know I sound Like a teacher but am not only 12.
I recently saw the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie. I thought it was ok and a little sad. If you have read the book it is a lot better then the movie. The movie is a little different because they couldn't make it too long. A good series is The Confessions of Georgia Nicholson. I believe it is by Louise Rennison or something like that.
I haven't made up my mind about this book yet. The Sisterhood/Pants movie was awesome and everything I would have expected from the book (which I loved). If you like that kind of book, you may like Contents Under Pressure by Lara M. Zeises and Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta. They're not series, but they're the same type of thing, chick-lit coming-of-age etc. -- you'll laugh, you'll cry:)
I'm really starting to like this book, even though I have no musical talent whatsoever. I actually don't think you need musical talent to enjoy a book like this. This book can apply to anyone, as I am guessing its lesson is something along the lines of "If at first you don't suceed, try, try again." I can't wait for more to be emailed to me!

Isn't that weird?? Anyway, not like ya needed to know that but.....
So, what do you think of the book? I think it's kinda weird that Amy has pictures from Tess's school in HER desk. I would have put pictures of MY friends and My school but that's just me. Yep, that's all for now. BYE BYE
Laura: At the bottom right of each message is a "Respond to this Message"...if you hit that, your response will fall immediately after the message you are responding to and not at the bottom of the list.
I feel kinda sorry for Meg because i would get really frusterated (SP?) trying to tell someone something and you have to explain it to them over and over again. So, again, what do ya think of the book. I am soo checking this one out. LOL. Are you?

I think I'm gonna go get this book. It seems like it has some pretty good potential and I'm really curious about Frederik and everything.
To Laura, not trying to be mean or anything, because what you eat is totally your choice or whatever and I'm good with it, but did you ever think about how fruits, veggies, and grains were alive once too? ;)
Has anyone read The Mediator series by Jenny Carroll/Meg Cabot? Very good, I highly recommend it. ): That's it for now.
OMG YES I HAVE READ THE MEDIATOR SERIES! JESSE IS BY FAR THE HOTTEST GUY I HAVE EVER READ ABOUT! LOL All my friends think I'm so weird cuz I'm in love with Jesse. But I made one of my friends read them and now she loves him as well! How can you not?
