Fantastic book!

I read this before I ever saw the musical or the film. There's so much more depth to this than ever comes to the musical or the play and it makes it a joy to read.

I recommend this to audio book readers or any other reader that has time to read this one.

"What wild desires, what restless torments seize
The hapless man, who feels the book-disease..."
- Dr. John Ferriar (from the poem Bibliomania, 1863)
