After a 14-year-old boy sets out to avenge the brutal death of his black nurse, she becomes trapped in a netherworld by the force of the boy's will and his need for revenge.

I like the rhythm of the story, I was a bit worried in the first few sentences, I thought I might need a dictionary, but then the flow got much better.

The plot sounds intriguing and I haven't read anything like that in a long time. And of course if Mr. Koontz likes this author I guess I will get the book and give him a try.

I was kind of getting worried about needing a dictionary too. But the description sounded interesting and so far the excerpts have too.
