Rogerson Biscoe, with his green eyes and dark curly hair, is absolutely seductive. Before long, 16-year-old Caitlin finds herself under his spell. And when he starts to abuse her, she finds she's in too deep to get herself out.

i FOUND THIS BOOK ..... promotes agrresive behavior toward teen girls... I think this novel is 2 mature for most teen readers.. Teens should read solid novels like, the Alais series.... fUN Written books... This book is 2 dark........!

Not enough credit

September 27 2005, 8:15 AM

I don't think you give enough credit to Teenagers today. They are very mature (for the most part) and I think they can handle all types of books. They don't have to always read Happy Happy books.

Underestimation

October 21 2005, 7:24 PM

Just because we are teenagers, doesnt mean that we should be stuck just reading books that are happy, have a simple story line and require no thought. I really enjoy books that get you thinking and are not neccesarily "happy" books. Diversity is key in whatever you do so I think saying that teens need happy books is wrong, and very stereotypical. I think you have underestimated us.

I read this book after we had the other Sarah Dessen book as our weekly read. This book was excellent, very believable, great characters.

Darkness

September 26 2005, 3:57 PM

I personally love dark and borderline books, i think we have to appeal to alot of different audiences so if you don't like the book one week relax.
I really like it so far, though it hasn't gotten to the point.
What other books has she written??
