Rogerson Biscoe, with his green eyes and dark curly hair, is absolutely seductive. Before long, 16-year-old Caitlin finds herself under his spell. And when he starts to abuse her, she finds she's in too deep to get herself out.

i FOUND THIS BOOK ..... promotes agrresive behavior toward teen girls... I think this novel is 2 mature for most teen readers.. Teens should read solid novels like, the Alais series.... fUN Written books... This book is 2 dark........!
I don't think you give enough credit to Teenagers today. They are very mature (for the most part) and I think they can handle all types of books. They don't have to always read Happy Happy books.
Just because we are teenagers, doesnt mean that we should be stuck just reading books that are happy, have a simple story line and require no thought. I really enjoy books that get you thinking and are not neccesarily "happy" books. Diversity is key in whatever you do so I think saying that teens need happy books is wrong, and very stereotypical. I think you have underestimated us.
I personally love dark and borderline books, i think we have to appeal to alot of different audiences so if you don't like the book one week relax.
I really like it so far, though it hasn't gotten to the point.
What other books has she written??
She has written: Someone Like You; This Lullaby; The Truth About Forever; Keeping the Moon; This Lullaby; Crazy Moon; and That Summer (that was the selection we had on this book club). I got that list off of the Amazon site.
I LOVE Sarah Dessen books. They are the best, although I perfer the happer Sarah Dessen books. I am looking for another author or book like Sarah Dessen books or just as good as them. Do you have any suggestions?
