Returning from the Civil War a changed man, Caleb Connors is uncertain he can meet the rugged demands of ranching. But Amanda Myers soon discovers her own strength and purity through Caleb.
Hi Margie,
I enjoy historical fiction very much and I'm particularly interested in the Civil War period. This book is off to a good start but if I can be just a little bit critical, didn't some of the unexplained events bother you a little bit? OK, it's gross, but what exactly did Cat use to amputate Caleb's leg? And, I don't think it would have hurt to explain just a little bit who Zane and Jake were.
That said, I will probably look up this author and book when I get the chance.
just wanted to answer your questions about the book, Forgive The Wind.
This is book five in my wind series. Caleb loses his leg in book three. Cat uses her husbands sword to cut off his leg.
I started the prologue with the scene in book three where Caleb loses his leg. Then the story picks up a year later.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Please look for my other titles in this series. Chase The Wind, Wind Of The Wolf, Crosswinds, Windfall and Whirlwind coming this Sept.
