I've never read a Latina love story, so I was excited about starting this weeks book. I thought today's reading went pretty slow although I was impressed with how the young mother, Kate, got her son out of the house. She used his imagination. Very clever on her part. This impressed me since I teach in a public school with very young children. I hope tomorrows read gets to Elisha, the Latina stranger the book jacket talks about. I hope I spelled her name correctly.
