I've read this one, folks, and you're in for a treat. Dark, gritty, lean and fast, with twists and turns that will knock you flat. Horror fans should grab a copy today! Well done, Tim.

Weekly read

March 31 2006, 8:35 AM

This is my first week on the reader list and I really enjoyed two of the book entries, Berserk and Freakonomics.

Berserk has caught my attention, promising to be exciting and contemporary. For some reason, I have become fond of English horror/fiction, having read a couple of Neil Gaiman's works and watching some BBC series. Maybe it is the less technical world of England or the crowded conditions of the cities and rural settings that still exist.

Even though this book has focused mostly on the loss experienced by the parents thus far, it has me wondering if I am in for a "Resident Evil" kind of experience.

Thanks for the intro, have the book reserved at my local library.
