I am a teacher of middle school students. I am always looking for heroes that they can emulate. I have used him in the past as an example. I am sure I will read his book so that I can show them that heroes come from all walks of life.

Hello, I teach pre-k in a public school setting. I wish I could find a children's book written on a child's level about this man. It would be great reading.

I read "Gifted Hands" which I greatly enjoyed. I was really excited to read these excerpts from another book by this inspiring man. I plan to check it out at my library.

Just read an excerpt from this book on amazon - sounds like an inspiring and motivating book - and they do have at my library - isn't it great that we have all kinds of books here in this bookclub - some for entertainment - some for education - and others such as this for inspiration - (and sometimes we get all three in one book) - you never know where you may find a nugget of wisdom -

The thing that impresses me most, in what I've read so far, is the Character that developed in the author. Having and attaining knowledge is wonderful... But having wisdom and integretity is a much greater achievement! I look forward to reading this whole book to my children.
