Masterfully plotted, darkly comic, "A Changed Man" illuminates the everyday transactions in lives, exposing what remains invisible in plain sight in America's drug-addicted and media-driven culture.
OK, Sandy, on your recommendation I picked up a library copy this afternoon. This is not a book I would have taken off the shelf, but I have learned that you just never know what is going to happen between the covers. I'll post responses.
Hello Ann and others who are reading this book - what do you think of this book - I know you have the book, Ann, as you said - so imagine you are more into by now - I found the website listed below with excerpt, reviews, and Q&A with author - have never read this author before and am not quite sure what to make of this book - guess the only way is to read it - but would like some feedback to see if I want to commit to it - Doris
Well Doris,I wish I could give you my views of this book, but I really cannot decide! It seems to be well written, it's an unusual approach, and I'm intrigued about where it is going. Having sung those praises, let me add that I'm just not sure that I want to plow through 300+ more pages of skin heads and tattoos...... I know, I know, abandon the prejudices and expand my mind. We shall see.
I FIND IT SO INTERESTING, THE STRUGGLE BETWEEN NOLAN'S UNDERLYING THOUGHTS AND
HIS NEW CHOSEN PATH. WHAT AN INTERESTING
