The Traveler
by John Twelve Hawks
Buy book: $14.96

In this stunningly suspenseful first novel, reminiscent of George Orwell and Philip Pullman, John Twelve Hawks has created a vividly imagined world that runs parallel to our own. Moving at lightning speed from the back alleys of Prague to the underworld of Los Angeles to a guarded research facility in New York, THE TRAVELER goes beneath the surface to give us new insights on history and our own lives.

interesting

This should be an interesting read. From reading the summary I initially thought this one may be a little far reaching for my tastes - a little too sci-fi sounding. But I did an author search...interesting to say the least. I highly recommend anyone interested to do the same. Intriguing. Anyways, looking forward to seeing what this is all about.

This is a GREAT read

Read this book about 4 months ago. I liked it so much I bought it, just to have a copy to loan to friends. Currently a friend in Austin is enjoying it . . . Believe me, I was a little skeptical at first, but it's on-the-edge-of-your-seat intense and very intriguing. Enjoy! I can't wait for the next installment!

I wasn't sure from the description ("From the Book Jacket") what this was about, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. I'm waiting to see what tomorrow's five minute read has to offer. It's refreshing to find something so original to read. An idea my mind hadn't thought of before.

I've been enjoying the installments via email from the library and decided to check out the book, but it is available only on CD. Disappointing.

I'm hooked!

I found myself running to the computer this morning to read the next e-mail installment of this book. Now I must wait to read the novel. (I have a hold on at my library). I am as intrigued with the author as I am with the book. If anyone hasn't done so, please look up John Twelve Hawk's bio. Very interesting.

My library finally located this book for me. Once I started reading, I just could not put it down. This was a tremendous story. It looks like the author is planning to write three more installments. I cannot wait!
