Courageous, romantic, intelligent: Catherine Parr became the sixth wife of Henry VIII and her story, as Carolly Erickson recreates it, is riveting drama.
I recently watched some of the BBC special miniseries on the wives of Henry VIII (on PBS), and found the portrayals of each of the characters riveting. This book seems to take a little bit different approach, and I'm interested to see the rest of it. I'll be waiting for it to show up at my bookstore.
