N.G. magazine was in our home most of my childhood and when I maried and had a home of my own N.G. entered right in and continues today. I read it cover to cover every month and love it. I have also enjoyed many TV N.G. specials and now also their own cable channel. Therefore I am certain I will read and enjoy this entire book. Thanks for featuring it thereby bringing it to my attention.

Same book?

Having deleted the Monday email, I searched amazon.com for the book so I could send the excerpt to my mother. But, the beginning of the listed book is much different than our Monday email. Any ideas why?

There is just nothing else like The National Geographic magazine. I've been enjoying it for years and now my children do. I can't wait to learn a little of it's history.
