I thought this book started out boring and very unrealistic. I play ball and not many people can get all those hits in one game, let alone place the ball at a particular fan. To unreal for me.
Loved this light, funny, sexy read. From the beginning when Risk Kincaid slammed the ball into the upper deck near his long-time love, Jacy Grayson, to the ending when he proposed to her...excellent. Many other characters are interwoven into the plot. All realistic. Love those Richmond Rogues. ** In response to the first message on this book - David Justice who played for the Atlanta Braves did exactly what Risk did in the World Series. He pointed to the upper deck in left field - nailed a homer. Justice was cocky, but delivered!
Light, funny, a touch of baseball and lots of romance. Pour yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up, and take an afternoon to enjoy a wonderful story set in a small town with larger-than-life characters. I look forward to the next book in the series.
