Want to know more!!! Read the first offering and I'm already hungry for the next. This looks like it's going to be a good book.

Same Book? -

January 10 2007, 2:15 PM

After reading today's read, felt I had fallen into last week's book by mistake - (the one that had the young girls' serial killer) - even went back and read last week's first and second read to make sure - was looking for the female policewoman who was on the floor drunk last I knew - seems we are heading in same direction this week -

Dark Eye -

Not sure if I will finish this book - think it may be too ghoulish for me - picked up from library today and read a bit tonite and as long as it stays focused on the very troubled Susan (policewoman) I like, but don't know if I can take the rest -

Downward turn

I too was interested in the policewoman's plight, but this is just creepy... must have to do with the short format, I usually gloss over these parts.

I am still reading the book - put it down for a while but picked it up again because of the policewoman's plight - so, yes, I too have been glossing over the gross parts and since the autistic son of O'Bannion (?sp.) is now in the story makes it more interesting along with her struggle with her alchohol addiction which she keeps denying -

Same book ? II

January 12 2007, 8:37 AM

I also felt that the book had changed. One day ends with a policewoman being stopped by the bartender and the next has a man shaving the head of a highschool girl. I didn't undetrstand at all. Now today we are back to the policewoman and she is in detox. I probably won't read this book.
