Dylan Hart, leader of Special Defense Force, and beautiful operative Skeeter Bang turn up the heat on a dangerous mission in this dazzling novel of romantic suspense.
I have contacted my library to finish reading this book and others in the series. It is nice to escape into a book now and then to relieve lifes little stresses.
Nope. Sorry. Stopped reading after about the third paragraph. Had to scroll back up to check the name of the author -- I could have sworn this book was written by a man. In the 1940s. It reads like one of those old fashioned male-chauvinist detective novels.
Maybe a crude woman who smokes and dresses cheap has her own brand of romance. It isn't mine.
I'm still giving it a go, but I get the feeling that this could be a very predictable story. I agree, where did the name "Skeeter" come from? Should be the nickname of an 8 year old boy with freckles. Anyway, I haven't given up yet. Sometimes it's good to read something not too complicated and serious.
The first couple of reads really puts one off.....but having stuck on till now, it doesn't seem a bad read when you just need a dose of uncomplicated romance.
