This author is intelligent, funny, and a great story teller. I read Deborah Smith's book excerpts of Crossroads Cafe in pre-publication last Fall and could not wait to buy the book. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Catherine and Thomas and all of the quirky, wise, and amusing characters who made the story so entertaining and heartwarming.

It is OK but I am still not sure on this one. It has taken two days to get even remotely interested so I will reserve judgement until the end of the week. At least now I understand who the guy is and a little about her
too much fluff and not enough action for my tastes. I aplaud her though if she is a self published author and won't put her books out to pasture just yet. I am just not sure where the story is leading to. I like the guy but she is so conceited.
I agree she is conceited, but I get the feeling her little conceited bubble is about to burst. I think in the end she may be someone worth knowing. I'm going to finish this one.
