First time reading this author.

May 6 2007, 8:37 PM

What to say about this book. Well, this is my first time reading anything from this author. It's has the same old mystery stye of a body is discovered. I don't think there is a mystery that don't started with out having someone died. Sorry, I'm mistaken, there is the classic mystery stye of something or someone has gone missing. What's happen to our authors with starting their books by the age old ways? Oh, well, I see where this one will take me. I have not even got my daily read yet. So, it's hard to tell what I think about it, untill I get my email. Happy reading and chatting.

Think we had another book by this author before - which I can't remember the title - at any rate, this first read has a cozy and sensuous quality about it, in my opinion - the preparing of the food, the music - but am afraid it is about to turn sinister - no great genius to figure that out - am looking forward to a good read - (my library does have it ) -

I'm sadly to say there is no books by this author on my computer. Maybe, the library didn't have the book at the time, so I never saved the emails of it or put the author on my list. Of couse the library do have this one. I too agree with you, Doris, about how loving the first read was. Oh yes, it will differential going to turn terribly bad. I know that something was going wrong as soon as Brett let the people from museum in. How stupid can you get? She thought that it was strange to send someone over with papers on a Sunday. Brett didn't even ask for some identity to say that what they say is who they are. The story is not taking long to get moving.

So far.....

So far so good. I saw your comments about the age old way of starting out a mystery novel, and I agree that that's usually how it's done...but classic is always better when it comes to books in my opinion. I feel like the story has taken off on a proper footing and will go through the trials and events that it's supposed to. Don't criticize the layout of the book, just get absorbed and caught up in the mystery.I like guessing what's going to happen and who the master-mind behind the schemes is. I have good hopes with this one.
