What Erika Wants
by Bruce Clements
Buy book: $10.40

Written in alternating points-of-view, this sharp and disarmingly understated novel charts the course of a caring and careworn teenager who is discovering that the first step to breaking free of a bad situation is to realize she's trapped in one.

good, but not captivating...

I was interested by the first three chapters enough to read the rest of it and just finished this morning. Without giving much away, I was touched by the dorkyness of the lawyer, the mom, sister, sister's bf thing was pretty messed up, and I felt sorry for the dad the whole time.

The book was interesting enough to continue reading all the way through, but I got the feeling as if the author lost his train of thought too many times in the book.

Did anyone else get that feeling too?

I would give it a 6 out of 10. A good read for the begining of summer and a must read for any girl at any age whose parents went through a rought divorce and was stuck between their choices.
