"There is magic in this book. It is the magic of a form of human engagement that allows you to see and your employees to be seen. Whether you are looking for a few good tips to keep a good thing going or need to recapture the very essence of a productive workplace, The Invisible Employee provides valuable lessons nestled among the pages of a clever and compelling story. A good read and a wise thesis." — Stephen C. Lundin, bestselling coauthor of Fish!

I Were the Invisible Employee

May 22 2007, 2:57 PM

It's true. I were the employee of "why bother shining when no one notices your achievements? Why bother trying when you could be in the next batch of layoffs?". After ten and half loyal services (10+ hours a day), I were downsized.

At 51, it's difficult to find a job in the same fields (There are only one major competition and three minor one. They're all in different states). I am very lucky I did not file "backrupcy" after two years without job.

Your story brings back a lot of memories to me, but my CEO's salary goes up 20%+ every year without me. Who should I blame? me? CEO?? system??, ........

Team Members

I was a good, cooperative, and producing team member in every company I have worked in the past twenty five yars, but I was not rewarded by that. You have to have an individual performance that deserved to get merrit raises. Does all CEOs train by the same heartless and greedy master?
