I read this book last year and loved it. Leanne Banks is a good writer she develops her characters well. This book is the 1st in a triology. I have since read the other 2 books and they were good as well. I would recommend the whole triology as a fun light hearted summer read. I like stories where the characters are presented in other books. I like to know what happens to the characters later on down the road, even if it's just a mention here and there. Very enjoyable!!!!
I wasn't sure about this book at first. It seems a lot like "Ugly Betty" and "Devil Wears Prada" -- and she seems to be afraid of her boss more for his sexiness than his power over her job. But today's excerpt, with her psychology of drinks, is starting to show me that she is smart and can adapt well. Looking forward to the rest of the week's installments.
