Hooked!

I have always wanted to own a B&B not Bait and BBQ so I can't wait to read the rest of this book. Sounds like a great story and not knowing anything about bait I am hoping to learn something.

Sounds like someone I know...

The abent-minded sister reminds my a lot like of a friend of mine. I wish I could throw more caution to the wind- but putting your savings into a E-bay bought business is a little too risque for me.

I agree about buying real estate on the internet - not something I could do either but it makes for a timely story in the "buy anything" on the internet age.

B & BBQ - (Ha) -

Put this one on hold at my library as soon as I read the short blurb posted over the weekend - who could resist this story line? - if you want to read what sounds like a delightful if somewhat confusing beginning - am sure things will work out in the end - and sometimes like to read a book knowing that going in -

Just now got from my library the Jan Burke mystery "Kidnapped" from week or so ago - that's another genre - but makes for a varied collection of reads -

Thanks, Suzanne, for serving us a buffet of different dishes every week -

Funny!

That is something my sister would do! Hilarious! I think if we arrived at a B&B that we purchased and it turned out to be a Bait and BBQ, we would get out of the car and stare at each other for a few seconds and then break out it laughter. Too funny. I cannot wait to see how the sisters react.

It will be interesting to see how these very different sisters handle the shock of finding their quaint B&B is actually a run down Bait and BBQ. NPR had a story yesterday about a couple who own a B&B in Saratoga Springs, NY. They both have to have full time jobs in order to support themselves. They have owned it for 8 years and are now seeing a small profit. Definitely a labor of love to own a B&B.
