I thought the book was very intersting,
and it has a lot to talk about.
Today's chapter was very sadding, and touching,especially for Rosemary.

It's about time we get to read a story that base in Australia. I wonder if this author is from Australia or Tamania? It's nice lovely beginning. Can't wait to read more of it.

I have never read anything by Sheridan Hay, but find myself very engrossed in the first two installments. Her writing is clear, precise, and her descriptions very colorful. Happily her mentor, Chaps, recognizes Rosemary's need for the knowledge found in books. I'm hoping for a marriage of knowledge and creativity (expressed in her mother's faniciful hats) in the now very forelorn Rosemary. I love Melville and Hawthorne too, and am looking forward to reading this book in its entire to find out how two American authors come to influence Rosemary, an Australian.

I too am looking forward to reading this book. Hay's writing style has drawn me in and I look forward to each new chapter.

I enjoyed reading this small portion of Sheridan Hay's book very much. I love her descriptive style of writing. I believe I actually smelled the ocean breeze, beheld the colorful flowers, and was mesmerized by the dazzling trinkets used to adorn the hats. I hope I can borrow a copy from FRL soon, I would love to travel to New York with Rosemary, and I believe Sheridan Hay could take me there.
