i think it' starting to get better although i did like the first chapter.

I don't speak French and the way the author goes back and forth between it and English makes it hard to understand.

We could buy a English-French dictionary, you know, learn a new language. That might be pretty cool. Although I don't think I would need to use it anytime soon...

I don't know any french either so that kind of turns me off...

The book starts out a little choppy, but I think that it has potential. I am not sure how this alter ego will play out. It sounds like it could transition into a corny movie vignette. On the other hand it could play out as a simple escape from his intense job. Interested to read on.

I am enjoying this book and find the soldier a likeable character.

I just can't seem to get into this story. It seems static...aimless almost. I don't feel what this character is feeling...actually, I have no idea what this character is feeling.

I will definitely check this one out.
