Not to bad...........

I have hope this won't be too bad. I did enjoy the 1st installment. The main character doesn't seem like she is dumb. I hate these romance novels where the woman is just dumb. You know a woman in real life wouldn't do some of the stuff they have us doing in these books (at least I hope, none of the women I know.) So, here's to the main character being somewhat intelligent. Let's hope it goes well. It usually goes down hill when a man enters the picture.

Where's the romance?

I only just skimmed yesterday's excerpt and today's was worse. All about quickies and shallow sex lives. Is this what modern romance is all about? Not in the books I choose to read...Sorry, I think this one's a dud.

This is just another "Sex And The City" wannabe.

Too bad...there may be some women out there buying these boooooring books, but they sure aren't getting my money!

I agree, this book is not working up to be worth a read to the middle let alone the end.

A strip club! Really. Who are these women. I've never met a woman who was just trying to get her friend laid. At least not a smart one.

They haven't...........

actually done anything but talk about sex, but not to fear it is coming. It's not getting any better as the days go on. I agree Linda it is a dud. The main character is about loose any mind she had.

Yuck!

I've definitely lost all respect for this character. She's actually considering dancing nearly naked in a titty bar on a stage for $1000? This is just GROSS to me.

For crying out loud.........

Well, I was so wrong. This is not a good read at all. Why or why, do they do this to women in books. From poised beauty queen to stripper in 10 pages.

I'm glad I read the entire week of this book just for today's portion -- I found it very Funny!! Okay, bad, but Very Funny! I don't think I have ever read "a boner hard enough to cut diamonds" and oh wow she has J. Lo's rear and Angelina Jolie's lips. Oh my goodness, I just had to laugh!! I might get this book just to see where it goes from there -- I'm betting the guy turns out to be the husband's new lawyer!
