The Triangle Conspiracy by David Kent Buy book: $7.19
Faith Kelly has what it takes to extort what she needs from the country's Most Wanted. But when her new case takes its toll in intimate ways, it becomes the most dangerous one of her career.
"Every now and again Morgan would come across someone praying at the fence at midnight, or staring at the lighted chairs at three a.m., and would shake his head - "at how terrorism had turned into tourism." - (This quote just caught in my mind and I thought "how true")
This one sure takes off in a hurry - wasn't sure if I would want to read just from the blurb, but it pulled me in real quick -
I don't know what i'm doing wrong with this one... I cant really seem to get into it. Maybe as we read further along it will be better for me- i'm hoping.
This book has slowed down to a crawl - don't know if I will continue - tho' I have already checked it out of my library - but another book not in the club that I also checked out is one I most heartily recommend - tho' not a mystery -
A book of short stories by Mary Ann Taylor-Hall titled "How She Knows What She Knows About Yo-Yos" - stories about women that I found on my public tv book of the month club - a selection of five stories - the first being the book title story which grabbed me from the first and did not let me down - (fiction) - please check your library for this author and see if you are as enthralled with her writing as I am - Doris - (please) -
Am just today looking into this book and is finally beginning to make some sense - have not read too much - but the time elements are beginning to fall into place for me - and as I am out of books to read, will probably continue to plough ahead -
This author has written several other books and was beginning to think this was the third part of a trilogy or something like that - but seems not - sure wish he had not made it so hard - or maybe it's just me - with book in hand, was easier to find my direction as I perused ahead to be better able to read the map of time -
