I am enjoying the premise of your book. It brings back memories of my former, big corporate life. One thing I admire about the FedEx or UPS strategies is their ability to reinvent themselves.
I am now in the printing industry and talk about reinvention. We no longer are printers but Visual Communication Experts.
As capitalism goes global it will take the actions of visionaries to thrive and survive in this new economy.
I wonder the message the author is sharing in his book applies to self destructive habbits of countries? There are a few good examples of that; Roman empire, Spain, England, France,so on. US may be on the path of self destructive also. We have budget deficit, trade deficit, eroding manufacturing base, and poor education system, and above all lack of vision on the part of our Leadership.
I am sure we can identify a few self destructive habbits of countries and perhaps do our part to turn this country around on the path once it was.
