The murder of a research scientist in Georgia sends Lang Reilly on a worldwide chase to uncover secrets that could upset the balance of power in the Middle East--and unleash a weapon more powerful than a nuclear bomb.
Welcome to the preview of my book, The Sinai Secret. I hope you enjoy reading it each day and look forward to any comments or questions you may have. -- Gregg Loomis
I find it interesting that you spend a lot of time characterizing the researcher who dies almost immediately after we meet him. I thought the bit about the friendly rivalry between he and his cousin was some foreshadowing. Will cousin Benjamin become an important character later on? Your writing style seems very British to me. Especially that last line describing the researcher's death, "He was quite right." I am enjoying the story so far and am looking forward to seeing how you will knit together all the pieces you've presented us with thus far.
Jen:
Thanks for your interest. Benjamin is not a particularly important character but what he has becomes crucial.. I try to stitch together a series of seemingly unrelated facts that make a plot. Hope you enjoy the rest of the book.

In light of the recent news (Iran test firing missles) your book really is catching my attention. It's very good so far! Next time I can get to a bookstore I'll look for it.

Hey there, I normally don't read books of this subject matter, but just after reading the little section of the book club email, I have to say that it's definitely catching my attention. I may have to find it to read the whole thing!
Maggie:
Sinai came out March 8 of this year.Yes, it involves many of the same characters as The Julian Secret as does the Pegasus Secret. You should find both at your local book store. If not, try Amazon.com. Thanks for your interest and kind words.
