Making matters worse within moments of receiving a wine shower, his handler informs Reed that he is to seduce Gabby who allegedly has the information they need. He has one day to persuade her to join him on the sheets, but Gabby is beyond outraged with him and he has to agree she has the right to be..

I don't usually read contemporaries. Mostly paranormal and historicals. But this chapter caught and held my attention. I look forward to tomorrows excerpt.
Amy - Contemporaries are actually my favorite romance reads. Thanks for giving this one a try.
Susan - We are the exact opposite! I rarely read historicals. No idea why I shy away from them. I have to pick a few up.
Lizbeth - An author couldn't ask for a better reaction!
Alison - I've heard that criticism before about contemp romances. I hope this one doesn't disappoint!
Judy - Romantic suspense is my favorite! I started reading mysteries and suspense and then tried romance, so RS is the perfect combination for me. I hope your library picks this one up soon.
Steph - Thank you!! That is great to hear.
Julie - Oh, she did what every good woman does...scratches it with her high heels. It's the basic male nightmare, I think. :)
Jessica - That is fabulous news! Sorry about the lack of sleep, but I am thrilled you enjoyed it.

Hi, HelenKay and everyone,
I just had to say that although I rarely read contemporary romance, I was hooked after the first day's excerpt! I think I'm usually turned off by the "sameness" or "ordinariness" of contemporaries, but the writing style and hints of plot complications here are attention-getters. Kudos!
Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the excerpts. I admit a certain fondness for Reed & Gabby. Reed thinks he's so together, yet he's really so clueless when it comes to Gabby. That's kind of what I love about writing and reading contemporary romance. To me, it's really relatable.
As I mentioned in my e-mail to you Helen, I am really enjoying this book and was sorry to see my library does not have it. I love all forms of romance/suspense books and this one seems to have a great plot and wonderful characters. Keep up the good work!
Oh my.... Now you've got me wondering just what did Gabby do to Reed's car!
This just sounds great! It held my interest straight from the start! I can't wait to read what way(s) Reed devises to get back in Gabby's good graces! I have a feeling it's not going to be an easy time for him! Not that I blame her! LOL This definitely went down on my "must grab at the store" list!
Love it, love it, love it! I reserved it at the library the very first day...was so excited about reading that I decided to got o the library and get one of your other books while I waited for our library to get it in, but to my surprise RH,RN was already in! With 5 kids it's hard to find time to read, but I've been staying up extra late at night and putting off cleaning the house (does it really matter if the dishes aren't done tonight??) and finally got it finished. I'm tired today, but it was a great book that was totally worth it!

Hi everyone! Thank you for the kind words and lovely emails about RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW. I'm so happy you enjoyed the excerpts. I must admit I loved writing that restaurant scene. It was a bit of a female fantasy :)
I'm sorry you're having trouble finding this in some libraries. If you have a Borders or B&N membership card, the cost is pretty low...well, as low as trade paperbacks can be. I hope you'll check it out and check out my other releases. If you do, let me know what you think. I love hearing from readers.
