Hey Bonnie, I had to write to tell you how much I'm enjoying you book. I work at my public library and thankfully we had a copy I grabbed off the shelf Tuesday night. I've read a lot of Romance novels lately, that have one major conflict and the story revolves around that same plot point for 200 pages. Your book has so much going on (each character has so much going on), it was very hard for me to stop reading last night and get some sleep before coming into work today. As soon as I'm home, I'm going to grab a mug of tea, sit on my couch and finish your book. Thanks for this great read!

Libraries are great, though I confess if I worked at one, I'd never get any work done. I'd probably find a corner and curl up with a book all the time, lol. Too much temptation!
I am hooked. You really know how to draw a reader into the story which I love! Not alot of writers can do this. I will be looking forward to the rest of the week's excerpt. This is on my to read list!!!!

Scorpion was a very special book for me to write because I really wanted to address the issue of Jasmine's skin color and how alienated she felt, as well as explore her feelings about her heritage. I think, though some of her actions are not admirable, she truly grows as a character by the book's end.
