Hello all,
Got lucky today, and picked up a what i think to be Belgian navy blue BD, matching jacket and trousers, my size (even a bit wide), for 20 quid.....
I have never seen these before, dates are 1958 and 56.
Now i have been planning on making a reproduction of a Dutch 320 Sq. (Dutch RNAS) BD or long, but could not find the right material.
Now that is solved, i need some pics of a wartime RNAS BD, as these were used by the Dutch as well.
Though in the pics it apears to be black, it is in fact the right shade of very, very dark blue.
I know i need to alter the lapels, but what about shape of the pockets etc?
Any info greatly apreciated.
(Sorry to miss Duxford b.t.w. chaps, got married three weeks ago, and for one reason or the other there's no money left.... Maybe next year?)
