I am in the process of creating and stringing my Wiring Loom for my D Oxygen Mask. I was wondering when RAF Pilot's where in their total field gear, how did they arrange their masks oxygen tube, wiring loom (the microphone & head set) in the fighter's cockpit?

A.Where was the wiring looms jack outlet located in the cockpit of the aircraft?

B.Did the pilot tucked in under his May West, coming out the bottom, then put into the aircrafts jack outlet?

C....or did the pilot let it hang lose in front of him or was it placed over their shoulders - then into the aircrafts jack outlet?

D.Where was the pilot's oxygen canister located in the aircraft cockpit? Was there any special arrangement they preferred?

E.Did some of these apparatuses hinder their performance while in combat, or getting out of a troubled aircraft?

Any information would be of a great help

Thank you Dale

The field mouse may be fast – but the owl can see in the dark!
