Response to Australians enlisted in the RAF
Any Aussie (or any other nationality) serving in the RAF would wear the standard RAF blue/grey service dress or battledress, with specific rank badges (either Officer or NCO) and any other trade or qualification badges they were entitled to. The only distinction would be to wear a nationality title 'Australia' (or whatever country the person came from) on a dark blue backing (or blue/grey for Officers). The title was not compulsory (Martin for example didnt wear one) and could be one of a number of different styles, and in the case of an NCO, either on its own above the standard RAF shoulder eagle, or a title and eagle combined in the same badge.
