Hoses

I think Chri's words are spot on Neil. Although I dont reinact, the 'stiffness' of the hose is certainly something.

Not sure about hoses being effectively cut to length to suit the wearer, but as Chris says if on a roll you could offer other lengths, one use being adapter tubes (the L shaped fitting one end, and female bayonet the other). Not expecting you to offer them, but I wanted hose when I found myself with the fittings. In that case I found correct gauge plain black rubber, but I know braided, at about 19 inches was also used.
